Meet Buddy the Yorkiepoo. At 4 his foster human was concerned that he may be suffering some with anxiety or even ill health due to his behaviour however his mild anxiety could be resolved simply with a little life and environment enrichment so with a plan and our lifetime support in place I’m sure he will flourish now.
Meet Elsie the sweet rescued 3 year old Cockerpoo. Due to her previous life Elsie had become super anxious but thanks to the efforts of her new human companions and a plan now in place to build her confidence she’s on the road to over coming her fears.
This is Nelly the 13 week old GSD pup. Her human companions were concerned about her behaviour towards them and her lack of any self control however it would appear that because of a lack of socialization and boundaries at the breeders she was now making up for lost time! But even at our first Puppy Consultation she quickly proved she’s a bright girl and with boundaries and a calm measured approach in place she is very capable of developing into a great dog.
Misty the Dalmatian is our spotty dog today. Being slightly anxious her human companions needed a little behavioural support to ensure she was as happy as possible but with no quick fix we now have a plan in place and with our lifetime support strategy we can start addressing her issues. Looking forward to catching up with her soon.
Check out Zeus the 16 week old Harlequin Great Dane pup at his Puppy Consultation where we went through all the essentials including diet, crate training, exercise, setting boundaries and reward training. His human companions were keen to start off on the right foot. I’m looking forward to our next session with this much loved lad.
This is lovely live wire Remus the 10 month old fox red Lab. As a working line Lab he was in need of an outlet for his energy as well as a need for his human companion to ensure the she was in charge not him! But with such a bright pup, a loving human companion and a plan in place he’s now on the road to understanding what’s required. I’m looking forward to seeing him again soon.
Great meeting Arlow the lively Staffy and at 12 months old he’s been giving his human companions a bit of a run around recently but he has already shown how responsive he can be with the correct guidance and support. I’m looking forward to our next session where he is going to try his hand at agility!
Meet Noah the 3 year old Pomeranian and judging by his expression he wasn’t too keen to have a Canine Behaviourist in his house?. His human companion needed help dealing with his scent marking, being defensive at the door as well as a couple of other issues. However he has already shown a positive response to part of the plan that is now in place. There are no quick fixes but hes on track now.
Lovely to meet this lively Ilmer Sealyham Terrier who became a little dominant in the home at the age of 6. Now 8 Berties human companions needed a little help putting in some boundaries in place to ensure he knows his place in the pack. Another great dog back on track.
