I have a Cane Corso cross. I Went to see Martyn to help get him more at heel. He is well socialised and friendly with people and other dogs. Although can be nervous at times. Martyn was excellent with him and within the hour he was walking at heel perfectly. A few tips has gone along way and made my walking experience more pleasurable. With new laws approaching I just wanted a little advice and support which has been on going since our training session with life time support as advertised. Martyn Stone was excellent at giving sound advice over boundary training with my nearly 7 month old Cockapoo Honey. Honey is my first dog and although I had read up on the breed training wise, I felt I needed some professional input. Martyn is extremely calm and professional, he pinpoints areas that may need addressing before entering your property, eg the dog jumping up.
Throughout the well over an hour session I felt we covered any aspects I needed clarification on.
I have to say that I personally felt more confident in training Honey and the next day I saw immediate results from Martyn’s advice. I will be looking at more training as and when needed and I would definitely recommend Martyn on a one to one basis before joining any group training sessions.

Martyn was a great help and support with my dog Clive. Clive is a male Lurcher (entire), really friendly, loving and very “bouncy”.
All was going well until I got another Lurcher pup (8 weeks), when Clive was 2 years and 4 months old. Clive was now fully mature and starting to show signs of dominance and jealously (since getting Jacks). Clive liked the new pup- Jacks, was really friendly and very, very patience with all the biting, nipping and general puppy behaviour.
Then…..Clive started to “forget” all the training we’d done together, started to show signs of dominance and became possessive over certain things that he’d decided where “his” and no one else could touch…..
I called Martyn (who had massively helped my Sister with her rescue dog). Martyn was FANTASTIC! Genuine, straight talking, empathetic and professional. I followed every piece of advice Martyn gave me and Clive is like a different dog! Obedient, the defiance has all but disappeared and he is a pleasure to take out on walks again!

We first had Martyn over when our chow chow was 10-11 weeks old and received incredible advice which helped us understand how to be good puppy parents!
We then called Martyn again when our pup was 16 weeks as he was starting to become stubborn on his walks and they were not enjoyable!

We have had two sessions only with Martyn to try to get our brother & sister Jack Russell pups to behave and get on better together. We took onboard some initial recommendations about crating them separately and the use of a pet corrector. Almost over night, things were calmer in the household. On the second visit, we walked one of our pups on a slip collar rather than a harness and after a few minutes he was walking almost perfectly and was calm. We have taken him out since on our own and it has been a pleasure to walk him, learning the techniques from Martyn. We have also walked our other pup using the same techniques and we are getting there with her too. I was an anxious puppy mum, especially with two of them but Martyn has made me less anxious and I am able to enjoy the pups more now since using Martyn’s services. He is always at the end of the phone if you have any questions or concerns. Would highly recommend.

Martyn has literally changed our dogs lives and ours, that may sound excessive or over the top but believe me it isn’t.
After one session we gained control over our dogs fear anxiety over strangers visiting our home, for a long time we avoided visitors unknown to him or would have to take him out to come back to the visitors already in the home.

He has pointed us in the right direction for socialisation, helped with lead walking and nipped lead responsive behaviours in the bud. He is always at the end of the phone for all ongoing support and will come out to the home to give face to face help.
We also take Bayne to agility with Martyn and let’s just say Bayne isn’t the most enthusiastic about this but Martyn always manages to get the best out of him and Bayne returns home happy and exhausted.

Couldn’t recommend Canine Associated Services enough. Martyn is highly knowledgeable and patient. We’ve had two sessions so far, one being before we brought our pup home. Martyn kindly came round to have a pre-check to make sure our set up was correct and run through what to expect from a new puppy. He answered any questions we had and gave advice on how to start training.
During our second session which was with pup, Martyn demonstrated training techniques and commands for us to work on. He made it look super easy and our pup has already started to show behavioural improvements!
In between sessions Martyn has been on call and approachable for any questions or issues we’ve had. If you’re new to owning a dog and need a confidence boost we couldn’t recommend Martyn enough.

Martyn has been working with Rex our reactive lurched and us over the last few weeks. Rex is a rescue dog and has socialisation issues.
Martyn is calm and very professional and was able to teach us how to manage him better. Martyn doesn’t just look at your concerns but looks all aspects of your dog eg diet, sleeping arrangements, patterns of behaviour and reactions. to name a few.
Martyn also arranged for us to take Rex to Ollie’s Doggy Day Care so he could meet other dogs safely. He was slowly introduced to dogs whilst wearing a muzzle then when safe without. Wow Martyn Stone was absolutely fabulous with our 3 dogs. He added order back in the pack, showed us how to cure excessive barking from all 3 dogs.
