This is Bella, a rescued pup originally from Spain. Our home visit was mainly to start helping with her separation anxiety so a coping plan was developed to hopefully start settling her in.
Meet Luna, a lovely pup but at 8 months old is quite a live wire so our session was to help with improving crate training and boundaries around the home.
Meet Mitzi and Mimi the Pomchi sisters. These girls live with different humans but near by however spend time together so we combined our session which included a little lead work, barking control along with the usual day to day boundaries and routines.
Meet Bramble and Pilot. These two lively lads were being a little too vocal at times in the home so we developed a distraction and reward strategy which although is work in progress was very effective at our first session. Well done guys!
Meet Louis the 4 year old Springer Beagle Cross. Louis can be very vocal in new surroundings and when he sees new people and dogs so we used a distraction and control technique to switch his mindset and eventhough it was only his first session he was very responsive. So his human companion and Louis have some home work. Well done guys! Great start.
Great session with Cooper the 2 year old Cockerpoo. Cooper came to us with his human to to resolve his lunging and barking as well his humans to learn how to deal with his sometimes over defensive behaviour. Early days on his journey but a positive start.
Meet Willow the 10 month old Pomeranian Husky cross, Willow came to us with her human companion for help with her over vocal and sometimes reactive behaviour so working with them we changed her equipment and technique to what had been previously applied with already positive results. Great start guys!
Don’t forget the importance of environmental and social exposure for your puppies and young dogs. We often see dogs that a anxious of the world around them. You never know where you may want or need to take your dog in the future. SO FUTURE PROOF YOUR DOG AND ENJOY DOING IT!
Meet Ollie the 6 month old Border Collie pup. Ollie’s human companions needed a little help with boundaries around the home after him having a long period of incapacity due to breaking his leg, however this receptive bright boy is eager to learn with the right encouragement and guidance. Go Ollie!
