In-Home Dog Obedience Training

If you want your dog trained efficiently without taking him to group classes or putting him in kennels, our in-home classes are ideal. Your dog learns in a familiar environment how to become a well-behaved and obedient member of the family.

Indoor and Outside Dog Training

Our qualified trainers will visit your home a number of times a week to work with you and your dog for a couple of hours. Training includes one-to-one exercises, walks, and socialisation exercises if necessary. Each week, our trainers will spend time showing you and your family what your dog has learned so far – which gives you an opportunity to ask questions and find out how to maintain the training and good behaviour that have been instilled.

Affordable Dog Training Packages

We offer three affordable in-home training packages:

Bronze In-home training – on lead

Duration: Three weeks

Your dog will learn to respond to a number of commands while on a lead in a familiar environment: how to sit, stay, come, lie down and come to heel. During these classes, we can also deal with any problem behaviour, such as jumping up at people, pulling on the lead, stealing food, barging out of the door etc.

Silver In-home training – off lead

Duration: Three weeks

These classes are for dogs that are capable of following on-lead commands. Your dog will learn to ignore everyday distractions and respond to commands while off-lead. He will learn how to sit, stay, come, lie down, come to heel and to obey. Our trainers will also work at eliminating any problem behaviour, such as jumping up at people, bolting out of the door, ‘counter surfing’ or any other issues that concern you.

Gold In-home training – on and off lead

Duration: Six weeks

Our advanced classes are designed for dogs that have had little or no previous training.  Your dog will learn to sit, stay, come, lie down, come to heel, and to obey, with or without a lead. We can also address any behaviour you might not approve of, including nuisance barking, jumping up at people, stealing, barging out of the door, pulling on the lead, and chasing cars.

Dogs and the law

Dangerously uncontrolled dogs are a menace to other dogs, their owners and the general public.

You need to be aware of where you and your dog stand in terms of the law and how to comply with the regulations.

More

‘No’ means ‘no’

If your dog behaves like a jumping jack, runs off at any opportunity, and ignores all your commands, obedience training classes will make your life a whole lot easier – and enable you and your pet to have more fun together.

Choosing a breed

Before you make the big decision to buy a dog, there are a number of questions you should ask yourself and the other members of your family to make sure you get the right pet for your lifestyle and budget.
