Family Protection Dog Training

Family protection dog training is only available after we have carried out a thorough evaluation of the dog and its handler. All dogs must be obedience trained on and off lead before beginning this class.

Dogs that qualify for our classes will be taught how to protect individuals, families, and property, while remaining an affectionate and safe pet.

Building your dog’s confidence

We use balanced training methods to enhance your dog’s natural suspicion and protection instincts by building his confidence, not by intimidating him or forcing him to respond. Training includes teaching your dog to recognise a threat, as well as showing you how to give the ‘alert’ command and how to call your dog out to provide effective and controlled protection.

For more details of our family protection training services, call us on 07879846534 or 01227 365136 or email info@canineassociatedservices.co.uk

Dogs and the law

Dangerously uncontrolled dogs are a menace to other dogs, their owners and the general public.

You need to be aware of where you and your dog stand in terms of the law and how to comply with the regulations.

More

‘No’ means ‘no’

If your dog behaves like a jumping jack, runs off at any opportunity, and ignores all your commands, obedience training classes will make your life a whole lot easier – and enable you and your pet to have more fun together.

Choosing a breed

Before you make the big decision to buy a dog, there are a number of questions you should ask yourself and the other members of your family to make sure you get the right pet for your lifestyle and budget.
