In-Home Dog Training

CAS obedience training classes will help you build a happy partnership with your dog and teach him to respond appropriately to the following commands:

  • Heel – your dog walks closely at your side
  • Sit – your dog sits quietly and patiently until released, even while distracted
  • Down – your dog lies down until released, even when distracted
  • Stay – your dog holds a ‘sit’ or ’down’ position for a long period of time, perhaps while you are entertaining guests or enjoying a meal
  • Come – your dog will come to you upon request
  • Place – your dog will learn to stay on a mat that limits his/her freedom to a designated area.

Using body language

Your dog will also learn to respond to hand signals. Your dog reads your body language and hand signals teach your dog to pay closer attention to you, obeying your silent commands.

Behaviour modification

If your dog has behaviour problems, we will show you how to modify unwanted problems such as jumping up, barking, lead pulling, aggression, digging, running away, and others.

To find out how our obedience training package can work for you and your dog, call us on 07879846534 or 01227 365136 or email info@canineassociatedservices.co.uk

Dogs and the law

Dangerously uncontrolled dogs are a menace to other dogs, their owners and the general public.

You need to be aware of where you and your dog stand in terms of the law and how to comply with the regulations.

More

‘No’ means ‘no’

If your dog behaves like a jumping jack, runs off at any opportunity, and ignores all your commands, obedience training classes will make your life a whole lot easier – and enable you and your pet to have more fun together.

Choosing a breed

Before you make the big decision to buy a dog, there are a number of questions you should ask yourself and the other members of your family to make sure you get the right pet for your lifestyle and budget.
